Zyxel Point - EX3320-T0 ​

Introduction ​

This guide details the configuration process of the CWMP protocol (CPE WAN Management Protocol), also known as TR-069, in the Zyxel EX3320-T0 router. This configuration allows the integration of the device with the IXC ACS (Auto Configuration Server), facilitating remote management and automation of settings.

Prerequisites for pointing equipment ​

  • Domain: http:// + domain + /tr069
  • Login: admin
  • Password: "Be informed during installation of the ACS system"
  • What? Periodic information: 300 seconds
  • Authentication of connection request:
  1. Login: IXCSoft
  2. Password: "Be informed during ACS installation"
  • Connection door: 7547
  • What? Connection address: /tr069
Access to the Form: Device Administration Interface > WAN > WAN Settings > Admin > TR-069

This information is sent by e-mail during installation of the system, but not all equipment requires filling.

Validation of Communication ​

Before proceeding with the pointing of the equipment, it is essential to ensure that the route between the EPC and the ACS server has open communication. To verify this communication, diagnostic tests can be performed, for example:

Diagnostic Tests

  1. Ping and Traceroute
  • In the router, access the diagnostics section and perform the ping and traceroute tests directed to the CHW server domain.
  • These commands will allow you to view the route and jumps made from the server IP to the equipment IP. Step by step
  1. Access the equipment administration interface using supervisor credentials.
  2. In the side menu, navigate to Maintenance > TR-069 Client.
  3. Activate the option CWMP Active.
  4. Enable Inform.
  5. Set the Information interval to 300 seconds.
  6. In IP Protocol, check the option Auto selection.
  7. In the ACS field URL, enter:http://DOMINIODOACS/tr0698. InUser name ACS**, type:admin9. In the fieldPassenha ACS, enter the password provided during the installation of the ACS system.
  8. Activate Connect request authentication.
  9. In Connect request user name, type:IXCSoft12. For Connect Request Password, use the password provided during installation of the ACS system.
  10. Save the settings.

After completing the configuration, the Zyxel EX3320-T0 router must establish connection to the IXC ACS server automatically. It is important to monitor the logs of the CHW device and server to ensure that communication is taking place as expected. In case of connection problems, check that all information has been entered correctly and that there are no firewall locks preventing communication.
